Low LED junction temperatures ensure LED efficiency, long LED life and consistent colour temperature over lifetime.
Typically for every 10ºC increase in junction temperature over 85ºC the LED efficiency will drop by 3%, the colour temperature point will shift by 1% and the lifetime will drop by 10,000 hours. Cool3R™ thermal management technology ensures significantly lower junction temperatures can be accomplished in the most sustainable way to maximise product life in real world environments and applications.

The heatsinks are cast with integral heat spreader and high capacity thermal pathways to ensure LED junction temperatures are minimised during start up and sustained operation. The open fin design promotes consistent convective cooling in any orientation. Engineered as a single die-cast to keep LEDs cool by minimising thermal interfaces. Passive technology requires no additional power. Proprietary surface treatments and finished improve cooling performance by 30% over regular die-cast parts.
